About Us

Like so many successful companies, we too, started small!

Our humble beginning was in 2012 where we operated in a 900 square foot, two-car garage in Knoxville, TN. In 2024, we restructured our business model to a limited liability company. We vividly remember the days where every purchase, every expansion of capacities, EVERY decision was strategic and was make-or-break for our existence.

In 2025, Daniel Conner was voted in as President and Manager of Catalyst Welding. Daniel brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the field of welding where he has worked in many different capacities, ranging from being a Welder, Inspector, Engineer, and Manager.

Catalyst Welding is a family-minded company. FAMILY is among our company core values, because our family is the main reason that we do what we do. Among our family, we consider our customers, vendors, and employees one and the same!

Our Mission

MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide Integrity, Quality, & Excellence for our clients & stakeholders every weld, every time.

core values:

Performance of our work with Integrity is the foundation of everything that we do at Catalyst Welding. We define Integrity by the acts of exhibiting strong moral principles, being honest with each other & our clients, being unified, and uncorrupted in our works.

Our Family is our biggest motivation in our works and among our greatest driving forces. Catalyst Welding views our employees & clients as Family and vows to treat them as such.

At Catalyst Welding, Quality is more than just a motto.  Yes, some of our clients thing that a pretty weld is “Quality,” and while that may be partly true, it is a result of having great systems and processes all along the way. Simply put, Quality is all about the journey, not just the destination!

Though it may be taboo to talk about Profitability, Catalyst Welding knows that “a job well-done” should be rewarded. We strive to be the best at what we do and we want to be able to sustain the service we offer by being profitable in our works. We realize, though, we must first provide VALUE to our clients for any of that to be possible.

Catalyst Welding strives to be EXCELLENT at the work that we pursue. We take the approach that being the best at our work requires that we take time at the end to acknowledge what we did well and what we can improve. We believe that through this continuous-improvement mindset, we will achieve Excellence in our works.

We believe that our work should always “begin with the end in mind.” Our works are intended to stand the test of time, under the conditions which they are designed.
